Tsuji Yojiro (辻与次郎)

Yojiro TSUJI (year of birth and death unknown) was a kamashi (tea pot maker) and caster in the Azuchi-Momoyama period. His real name was Sanehisa TSUJI. He was born in Omi Province.

Brief Personal History

He lived in Sanjo Kamanza where he studied under Donin NISHIMURA.

He also made Toro (garden lanterns) and Bonsho (large temple bells).

Under SEN no Rikyu, he created new types of tea pots including round pots, Amidadogama (Amidado pots), and Shiriharigama.
